On April 23, 2021 at approximately 12:45 a.m. Eastern District officers conducted a traffic stop of a silver Hyundai in the area of Crain Highway and Veterans Highway.
Upon speaking with the driver, 39-year-old Eric Terrell of Decatur, Georgia, the officer received information leading to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the seizure of a loaded Springfield XD 9mm handgun.
The driver was arrested and charged.
