Marijuana bust in Glen Burnie Wednesday morning nets almost a pound of pot

On April 14, 2021 at approximately 10:50 a.m. an Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACPD) officer conducted a traffic stop of a blue Honda Accord in the area of Hospital Drive and Crain highway. 

Upon approaching the vehicle the officer observed marijuana in plain view within the vehicle, a press release stated.  The investigation led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of numerous bags of suspected marijuana weighing 419 grams, two digital scales and a large amount of packaging material. 

The driver, a Mr. Kavon Chatman from Baltimore,  was arrested and charged. A request to the AACPD for further information was not returned by the time of publication.
