Local Luminous Health releases statement on CDC/FDA new hold on Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 Vaccine

Luminous health, with locations in Glen Burnie, has released a statement regarding the action taken by the Centers for Disease Control and Food And Drug Administration to put a hold on distribution of Johnson and Johnson's Covid-19 vaccine:

"Based on recommendations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as our State and County health departments, Luminis Health has paused the administration of the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine. To date, Luminis Health has administered more than 80,000 vaccines system-wide, and less than 5% of those vaccines were J&J. We will store all remaining J&J vaccines in our inventory until we receive further guidance from the federal government. We have posted these developments on our social media channels."
